Georgia Power joins Cox PIVET, Georgia Department of Education to preview All-Electric School Bus

Georgia Power recently partnered with Cox PIVET and the Georgia Department of Education for a preview event of an All-Electric School Bus. The bus was previewed last week with Atlanta Public Schools and Cobb County Schools.

The school bus developed by Lion Electric is a zero-emission solution with a range of 100 to 155 miles per charge. The vehicle has a 19.2 kW AC on-board charger with an estimated life of up to 15 years and can hold up to 72 passengers.
