Björn Meyer is appointed to Aquila Group's portfolio management team

Aquila Group has strengthened its real assets portfolio management proposition by appointing Bjoern Meyer as Team Head with responsibility for the company's wind power and photovoltaic plants. Bjoern Meyer has 15 years' experience in the renewable energy sector. Prior to joining Aquila Group, the graduate economist held positions within banks, project developers and a utility company. He has extensive expertise in project finance, mergers and acquisitions and executive management.

Aquila Group has transacted a total of EUR 3.0 billion worth of renewable energy projects. In the wind and photovoltaics area, seven plants were acquired for investors in 2015 alone, comprising an installed capacity of 120MWp in photovoltaics and 230MW in wind power projects.
