You desire a Technical Leadership position to lead, mentor, train and direct Creative Technical Solutions (CTS) professionals. You are an electrical engineer or a manager with an electric utility, consulting Company, or with a Protection and Control (P&C) system supplier. You are ready for the challenge of interfacing with the Customers of a leading supplier of innovative high quality P&C solutions in the area of Generation and Distribution.
We are looking for a dynamic individual with demonstrated leadership and communication skills with a Team in an electrical power system environment. You will be responsible for providing technical leadership in the application of the company's products, systems and solutions related to protective relaying of generators, transformers, interconnection of Distributed Energy Resources (DER), distribution feeders (including recloser controls), motorbus transfer systems for power plants and industrial facilities, and distribution automation controllers for load tapchanging transformers, voltage regulators and line capacitors. You will provide technical direction in support of the application, use, and maintenance of the above products and systems and lead/mentor/train CTS associates to increase their effectiveness and professionalism. You will write and present technical papers at conferences on topics related to solving customer application problems. Our goal is that this career path would lead to nationwide if not worldwide renown.
Qualifications include sound knowledge and experience in the design of protection and control schemes (1-lines, 3-lines, dc and logic diagrams), calculation of protection settings, ability to analyze events and knowledge of digital communications as applied in utility P&C applications (DNP, IEC-61850, MODBUS). BSEE with 10+ years of relevant experience or AAS and 20+ years of relevant experience is required. A PE is highly desirable.
