Senvion and CRRC Zhuzhou Electric sign strategic framework contract for generators

Senvion, a leading global manufacturer of wind turbines, has today (10/18) signed a framework contract with its supplier CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Co., Ltd (a primary subsidiary of CRRC Group, hereinafter referred to as CRRC) at China Windpower fair in Beijing. The contract covers the delivery of generators for the NES based Senvion 3.XM series. It foresees that CRRC will provide a minimum of 50% of generators for the 3.7M144, at least 100 pieces in the next three years.

CRRC is one of the largest traction equipment and wind power generator manufacturers in China. Senvion has announced to follow the goal of achieving the best LCoE with experienced suppliers at highest quality standards. The strategic cooperation with CRRC will contribute to this goal.
