A delegation from the European Investment Bank (EIB), led by vice-president Karl Nehammer, visited one of Ukrhydroenergo's hydropower plants. The delegation also included Matteo Rivellini, head of EIB Ukraine investment team, Janis Rusis, adviser to the vice-president and Kristina Mikulova, head of EIB Regional Hub for Eastern Europe.

The EIB representatives were briefed on the plant's operations and the impact of russian attacks. Discussions focused on restoring damaged infrastructure, current priorities, and potential areas for further cooperation.
The visitors were impressed by the professionalism and resilience of Ukrainian energy workers, who continue to keep hydropower plants operational despite constant threats.
Ukrhydroenergo and the EIB have a long history of jointly implementing projects of great importance to Ukraine's hydropower sector. This partnership remains particularly valuable today, as the company works to overcome the consequences of attacks while planning for future development.
We thank our partners for their continued support and greatly appreciate their willingness to visit our facilities in person despite the security risks, allowing us to discuss operational matters directly on site.
